The first season features contestants between the ages of 3 and 21 years, each competing to answer 15 carefully curated questions from the Valmiki Ramayan. Contestants are provided with three lifelines, and those who successfully answer every question correctly stand a chance to win the grand prize of ₹11 lakh.
Episode 1 of Kaun Banega Gyanratna will premiere on 22nd July 2026 on YouTube, marking the official launch of the show and giving audiences across India their first look at this one-of-a-kind knowledge-based entertainment property.
Even before its official release, the initiative received an overwhelming response from across the country, attracting more than 40,000 registrations.
