Founded in 2024, Botanix Industries was conceived with a vision to add greater scientific and commercial value to India’s botanical resources. In just two years, the company has developed manufacturing, quality, engineering and sourcing capabilities designed around botanical extraction, standardisation, analytical validation and traceability.
Speaking about the company’s larger vision, Dr. S.V.N. Suresh Babu, Founder and CEO of Botanix Industries, said the organisation aims to build a value chain where agricultural resources are transformed through science and manufacturing into standardized botanical ingredients for markets in India and overseas. The company’s approach places farmers, scientific processing and global market access within the same ecosystem.
P. Madhu Babu, Co-Founder and Managing Director, leads the company’s engineering, plant operations, product innovation and manufacturing systems. Botanix’s manufacturing philosophy emphasises precision in process parameters, equipment performance, safety, quality and batch-to-batch consistency.
The company specialises in standardized herbal extracts, spice oleoresins, natural colours, essential oils and nutraceutical ingredients for the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, Ayurveda, cosmetic and personal-care industries. Its flagship botanical portfolio includes Curcumin, Bacopa Monnieri, Piperine, Forskolin and Coleus extracts, Green Coffee Bean Extract and Ashwagandha Extract.
Among its key offerings is Curcumin Extract 95%, standardized from turmeric root (Curcuma longa). Botanix positions itself as a Curcumin extract manufacturer and supplier in India, serving nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, functional food and related formulation requirements. Its manufacturing process includes controlled extraction, de-solventisation, filtration and micronisation, with a focus on standardized curcuminoid concentration and batch consistency.
Another flagship ingredient is Bacopa Monnieri Extract, also known as Brahmi extract. Botanix standardizes Bacopa extracts around bacoside concentration and manufactures the ingredient for nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and wellness applications. Controlled extraction, purification, drying and analytical quality checks form part of the company’s process for delivering standardized Bacopa ingredients.
Botanix’s wider model goes beyond manufacturing. The company works toward direct farm-to-factory linkages for crops including turmeric, Bacopa, Coleus and coffee, with emphasis on traceability, quality verification and long-term farmer relationships. Its ecosystem is projected to support more than 1,100 livelihoods through direct employment, farmer engagement and indirect opportunities across transportation, procurement, suppliers and rural services.
With its new manufacturing facility operational, Botanix Industries is positioning Andhra Pradesh as an emerging base for value-added botanical ingredient manufacturing—combining India’s agricultural strength with scientific extraction, standardized quality systems and access to global ingredient markets.
