Mumbai, 30 August 2026 — Dr. Anand Fadte, Chief Technology Officer at Aviantos and PieStudy, won the 2026 Time Cyber Media Award for AI Leadership and Innovation at a ceremony in Mumbai on Saturday. The award was presented by former Indian cricket captain Sunil Gavaskar.
The citation named two products — avData, Aviantos’s AI document-intelligence platform, and pieCRM, PieStudy’s agentic customer relationship management system — as the basis for the recognition. The AI Leadership and Innovation category honours individuals who have moved artificial intelligence from concept to production-grade capability inside operating businesses.

Career
Dr. Fadte’s professional background spans 22 years, five continents, and P&L ownership of €100 million or more. He has served as CTO of MSM Unify in Canada, Head of Data Science at Qorbital in Pune and the United Kingdom, Head of the Insurance Centre of Excellence at Tieto/TietoEVRY in Finland and India, and in earlier programme-leadership roles at Accenture across the United States, United Kingdom, Belgium, and Australia.
He holds a Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence from SSBM, Geneva; a Post-Graduate Program in AI and Machine Learning from IIIT Bangalore; an MBA from ICFAI; and an MCA and BSc from Goa University. He has been honoured more than forty times over his career, including Tieto’s Feather in the Cap (2017) and the Leadership Excellence Award at the Education 2.0 Conference in Dubai (2024).
Dr. Anand Fadte has delivered multiple keynotes, panel discussions, leadership talks, faculty development programmes, and executive sessions on AI Leadership, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI Transformation across academic and corporate audiences.
